Bagel Delight - Newtown

I love the bagel. They are fresh and very personal with butter or many different types of cream cheese. One of the best in Newtown,bethel and Danbury area. Absolutely enthusiastic about the morning breakfast

Based on the good internet reviews, I stayed on a trip from Southeast CT, a Bagel Abland. I have the lax cream cheese on an unstained level. It was delicious the generous help of fresh tasting Lox, a huge delicious deal bagel, I am in the Bagel sky. I'll be back!

Needs breakfast / lunch by CT on I-84 and found this place easily off/on the highway. My first time there plus had my wife and 3 children. What a great family business. The owner Eunice is on the register and is the sweetest person. Your son Tim takes orders to help make food and was super friendly so you feel like family. Service is relatively fast, but as a customer you have to understand that good quality and fresh product can take a little more time. There was a decent line when we got in, so you know it must be good here. The bagels are large and very soft inside. Fresh pot cheese with a variety of flavors. Sandwiches were excellent! Definitely return to the area again.

I love this place. Your breakfast sandwiches are the best. Customer service is at a different level. I've been calling since I had Kovid, I really wanted a breakfast sandwich from here. When I called and the very nice lady explained that she picked up the phone, she said it wasn't a problem. I could pay by phone and one of the employees came out with my order. In any case, we'll get back.

BD is a nice lil bagel shop I cannot lie. This quaint shop run by a sweet old lady pumps out a variety of oversized bagels that are a pretty solid rendition on the NY classic. They have a great crusty exterior and pleasant chew/flavor profile. My only knock is i wish the chew were a bit more substantial and the inner texture lighter and leas bready feeling... A little more umph somewhere and these would be the bees knees. That being said they are legit and worth the travel to seek out. Now this is a mom&pop shop and pricing can vary a lil but in this economy/pandemic I dnt mind dolling out a lil extra for that homemade feel. *ProTip: arrive closer to closing and the sweet lady behind the counter might be inclined to throw a cpl extra on your order just cuz she's the sweetest!
