Beefeater The Grandstand - Newton Abbot

We came out of the blue after we had discovered it from tesco over the road. we were so hungry that we didn't want to wait to cook home. we are so glad we have come! the waiting staff were really humble, friendly and very knowledgeable about food options and allogies. Unfortunately, the halloumi and wobbles were not vegatarian as they are fried in the meat oils, but no gluten contamination on the chips guaranteed! so everything in all it is understandable and there are other Vegi options to choose! this setback did not affect our visit. both of us have cooked the delicious food and enjoyed the unlimited chips. the chef has made a great job and we found it really nice that we could see in the kitchen. the venue has a really nice modern atmosphere with plenty of space and comfortable sitting. there are many parking spaces on the back, but make sure that they go from the roundabout in the direction of the ride to find it. great experience!

The food was good, the hosting was even better. I was promptly seated and given the opportunity to scan a qr code to check in and shown where sanitisation points where. The manager was an absolute delight. It was refreshing to have a meal and a laugh with the staff

We had an excellent dining experience here. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit. We appreciated the strict adherence to safety protocols, which made us feel secure. The restaurant was impeccably clean as well. Our food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. We look forward to returning soon!

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The waitstaff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the drinks were enjoyable. I highly recommend trying the ribs!
