Yogurt Beach - Newton

I would visit Yogurt Beach a lot years ago, and then didn't go there at all for the past few years. i went back a few days ago just to satisfy my nastalgia cravings, thinking i'll probably not like it as much as i did before but it was as AMAZING as I remember it. :

Awful food. Wouldn't go here if your have allergies. Good and friendly staffI see your response below. Thank you for agreeing with me that you don't serve food, I couldn't have explained your yogurt any better. Also, you have all the toppings of nuts open to the entire space, and it's positioned right after the yogurt pulls.

As we tried to get some frozen yogurt, we discovered there were only about two flavors available. The staff seemed indifferent to the disarray of the store and the lack of stock. My friend and I managed to get a small amount of yogurt, but soon after, there was nothing left in any flavors. We saw several other customers walk in, eager for yogurt, but they faced the same issue. The staff didn’t even acknowledge the situation or the disappointed customers. Additionally, one of my friends, who is eight months pregnant, had been looking forward to enjoying some frozen yogurt, but unfortunately, she was unable to get any because she had gone to the bathroom when we first arrived. Overall, tonight’s experience was disappointing, earning a 0 out of 5 stars. However, I’m giving it a 3 out of 5 due to my previous visits where the yogurt was delicious.

This is the best frozen yogurt spot in Newton! The staff is incredibly friendly, and they offer a wide variety of flavors and toppings.

I visited the restaurant for the first time on July 4, 2023, with my infant son, and I was quite disappointed with the customer service, particularly from the owner. He stood by and watched me struggle with the machine for two minutes while I was holding my son. When I finally got the machine to work, I had trouble turning it off, and that’s when he decided to come over and scold me as if I were a child. I remained calm for my son’s sake, but it left a bad impression. Afterward, I asked a few people about the owner and learned that he has a reputation for having an attitude problem. This will definitely be my first and last visit. The yogurt was good, but the service and prices didn’t match. I would prefer to just buy four gallons from the store for what I ended up paying.
