Bidrage med feedbackI used to order from this restaurant about 4 times a week. I used to love it, but recently I have had some issues. A salmon sandwich was overly sauced, requiring me to scrape off excess broth. A turkey sandwich had so much mayo that I couldn't taste the turkey, and an egg dish was made incorrectly.
The best parsley I have ever had is a collaboration between [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] at [redacted] and [redacted]. When I searched online, I found a photo of Panera Bread. Now, let me say Panera should not be pronounced the same way as "did." I ordered the lamb hash and it was a 11/10. I will definitely be coming back. The Snoop Dogg croissant was out of this world. When it comes to ambiance, this place has it all. It is big and spacious, and I particularly enjoyed the fish tank in the back. When I walk in here, I feel like I have been transported back to Split, Croatia around 1923. Leonardo DiCaprio greets me and offers me a pistachio croissant. Everything feels right with the world. Every time I return to this place, I know what to expect, and yet every experience feels like a revelation. It is a moment where the definition of culinary art completely changes. They expect that when patrons leave Tatta, they will not be the same as when they entered.
It is a pretty place, they do have a variety of items, but a single baked item will give you instant diabetes. I understand that it is a bakery (I worked in one for a few years), but you need to find some sort of balance.Tiramisu is a disaster: probably sitting on a shelf for a couple of days and is as dense as a custard (the overly thick cocoa dusting on top for such small serving is not helping).Almond croissant (my top-three favorite dessert) is so darn sweet, you cannot eat it even with milk, has to be very bitter coffee or plain water. I think they soak it in simple syrup (and dust with 10X sugar as well Regardless, I should be able to taste almonds and butter, not cringe from every bite. Looks good and that’s it.
Hands down the most beautiful cafe’ in Boston and prettiest of all the Tatte locations. Peaceful space to work and/or chat with a friend in the of Newton Center. You too can get a perfect mocha latte from the beautiful barista w the blue hair.
Was a very nice place. I just bought some bakery items to take home...very good!
