Sycamore. - Newton

This restaurant gets great reviews, and the service was good. I think I just ordered the wrong food. The bread and butter and the pork belly (but not the salad it came on) were delicious. The lumache pasta with shrimp came in a watery sauce that left me cold. The beignets were OK with a watery caramel sauce The restaurant staff members were nice and comped our desserts after realizing I hated my main course. I doubt I'll ever eat here again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever! We try and dine here whenever we are in the Boston area. Great, interesting and creative dishes. Pork belly small plate is a fav... but everything is so yummy I could list the whole menu. Always new menu additions so there is always something new to try. Owner is such a nice guy too and the staff is wonderful! Already looking forward to our next visit!

Sycamore restaurant in Newton, Massachusetts, is an absolute hidden gem. From the first bite of the smoked bluefish pâté to the last morsel of the crispy Berkshire pork belly, every dish was an exquisite delight. The whipped local goat cheese and local fluke ceviche were equally impressive, each made from scratch with exceptional attention to detail. The staff were warm and attentive, enhancing an already stellar dining experience. Sycamore has earned a spot in my top three favorite restaurants in New England. Highly recommended!

We have eaten at sycamore numerous times and it is always consistently excellent. Last night we had ceviche, a summer salad with peaches and manchego and chicken schnitzel. Their execution always has something a little special that elevates the food. All delicious. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely. I also had a very tasty non-alcoholic beer. Can't wait to come back.

The food was AMAZING! We tried two snacks and split an entree (smoked fish pate, whipped goat cheese, and the schnitzel) and they were all phenomenal. Cocktails were so yummy, too. Can 't wait to be back.
