Garvey's Bar Restaurant

We celebrated our annual Family Reunion last weekend at Garveys. The Restaurant is in a lovely location outside Crossmaglen. The restaurant was organised in a way to ensure all 30 of us, including 5 children, were able to chat and catch up without impacting on other restaurant customers. The food was very good, the service was excellent and it was all overseen by Eamonn who deserves praise for managing a seamless evening, even taking time to arrange a surprise celebration cake for Jemma and Nick who were also celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary. Eamonn as well as organising two other parties in the restaurant took time to arrange and take a group photo for us. This shows the effort made to ensure our family not only had a wonderful evening but also had a lovely memento of the evening. Stayed for 3 nights here and place was brilliant. Central to Galway city centre and all the bars restaurants and entertainment. Loved all the girls who served the service was second to none and the food and drink absolutely spot on. They also have an old whiskey

Just called in on a recommendation Service good ! Food exceptional I had the sizzling beef my friends had ribs and chicken curry all very pleased. Friendly attentive staff on a busy Saturday evening. I will definitely return an overall very pleasant experience. Oh and if you like country music your in for a treat as it on in the background just adds to atmosphere.

A real diamond of a place to eat with loads of choice for all tastes. Was here again after a few years away and will be back again much sooner.

We were recommended this restaurant by friends. Passed by on a Saturday afternoon. The place was deserted. Went in and they served us. The food was excellent, good quality food and great portions. Very friendly and attentive staff. The price was very reasonable too. Will definitely be back. Friday nights 2 for 1 menus. Wine is great value too. Possible to pay in Euro.
