The Cheer Factory - Newport

Hands down, the best Indian restaurant on the northern beaches. Awesome staff, happy to help. These guys phoned me back the following day and checked my meal came in a timely manner and was satisfying. The sauces are great

Hidden Newport Gem. Tucked away in the little 'restaurant/cafe square ' of Newport, my partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed a few meals here now. The food has a northern Indian focus a good blend of traditional and modern twists. Highly recommend the stuffed breads, saag and even the butter chicken (apparently made more in the traditional style of more onion based), was amazing. Have to say, the beer on tap and wine list was pretty good too. Staff lovely with fast friendly service and refreshingly passionate about the food. All adds up to be one of the best Indian restaurants on the peninsula.

Excellent food and service. We had a very enjoyable evening here and we will be recommending the Cheer Factory to friends. I am not saying ignore negative reviews as everyone is free to give an opinion, however the person who wrote that the menu was 'confusing ' was either high or is a little stupid... It 's a menu! I guess they were 'confused ' by the tapas option, but I guess we can 't all be cosmopolitan... Will definitely be back.

My parents love this place. I like it too ... maybe not with their fanatical devotion. The interior is pleasant, nice colourful lively Indian-themed photos on the walls. I like their lighting, it 's dimmer than usual, but contrasts nicely with the lively photos. The seating is varied and quite close, but it works. The staff are efficient and no nonsense, don 't expect small talk ... or a botched order. The food is delicious and each dish varies from each other ... no generic 'Indian ' where different curries differ only in colour. The kitchen isn 't super fast, probably due to their extensive home deliveries they punch out constantly. But they get there, and it 's great. This is a great restaurant for a relaxed dinner of family or friends who can chat and enjoy quality Indian cuisine.

Did some takeaway and loved it. I love the way they give amazing flavour to the butter chicken. I would highly recommend people to try the food out here.
