The family shared a seafood platter and calamari dish and it was the perfect amount of food for the four of us, not to mention that the salad on the side was perfectly fresh and light, so it balanced out the deep fry perfectly.Please note that if you live in the local area you need to be a member or guest of member to enter the club.

Beware if you are coeliac or have any other serious food allergy. I ordered the Burrito Bowl which shows 'gf ' (gluten free) on the menu. When I picked up the bowl, there was bread right on it. I told them that I am coeliac and that the food needs to be gluten free. The chef removed the bread indicating that it is now gluten free. Anyone working in hospitality should know by now that this sort of cross contamination is sufficient to cause serious illness. The club is set beautifully but if you have serious food allergies, this restaurant is a risk to your health.

As someone new to sailing, I had never been here before but what a pleasant find! Nestled away in the back streets of Newport, the club is in a great location. Top spot to relax after a day in the water.

My family and I were there for dinner recently and it's not often I complain about woeful food however felt the need to speak up. I asked who was the chef that night and all I know is if we all go back (as we genuinely do love the place! I'll confirm prior that Duncan will not be in charge of the kitchen that evening. Incredibly disappointed as was terrible.
