Subway - Newport News

This restaurant has two sandwich lines, so you would expect service to be twice as fast. Unfortunately, it feels like it's actually twice as slow. The sandwiches are messy, the service is lacking, and the staff seems disorganized. The only reason it's still in business appears to be the shipyard workers. I hope something changes here. In the meantime, I recommend avoiding this place.

I had an excellent experience today at Subway, especially after visiting other shops recently. My opinion changed completely! The staff was exceptional and genuinely nice, not just putting on a show. Sylvia welcomed me as soon as I walked in and crafted my sandwich beautifully, like something you'd see on a cooking show. Honestly, it tasted just as good as it looked, and I definitely plan on eating at Subway again soon!

I recently had the best meatball with cheese and a few green peppers that I've had in a long time. The next day, I enjoyed the leftovers. Let me tell you, it was fantastic!

Best place for lunche in the area.

Tuna salad is my favorite! I sometimes get her salad. It's great!
