Juicy Teriyaki - Newport News

I ordered sushi and was informed it would take about 10 minutes. However, I ended up waiting 25 minutes, only to find out that they had run out of salmon for my roll. They then prepared it in under 5 minutes. Meanwhile, they were consistently calling out orders, and I was number 34, while they were calling number 56 when I finally received my food. It seems like sushi is not a priority here. Food rating: 2/5.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and ordered fried chicken wings and fried rice. The chicken was quite good, but the rice didn’t seem properly cooked or fresh; it really didn’t taste good. I also tried the fried dynamite roll, but it also felt old. It wasn't hot and lacked freshness. Overall, I was quite disappointed with my meal, especially considering I spent over $30. The only thing I would consider returning for is the fried chicken.

Regarding parking, it's more an issue of the location than the restaurant itself. When we visited, it was after the second shift at the shipyard, so we found parking across the street which was readily available, but this may not always be the case if you plan to dine in. I would recommend opting for takeout instead, as dealing with shipyard-related parking can be quite a hassle. Best of luck to Juicy Teriyaki!

I just ordered some gyoza to take away. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is also very friendly and efficient. I will definitely return!
