It's not a hidden jewel! Restaurant right on the beach, it is a great place for breakfast lunch or an early dinner (to naturally catch the sunset). I ate at noon on Saturday at the beginning of November. They originally told me that waiting would take 45 minutes, but it was not busy and we were sitting in 15/20 minutes. We sat in the promenade, which is about 15 feet from the restaurant. There you have a few tables with dedicated waiting staff and an unstructured sea view! We saw dolphins and seals while we waited for our food. The main restaurant area also seemed beautiful. It is elevated on a deck and depending on where you sit, you can or do not have food ocean views. Parking is a little tricky. It's over the street and costs $5 per hour. $20 full day on weekends and $15 medium week. The restaurant confirms what's nice. You can either go down to the beach (about 8-10 minutes) or you can take the shuttle that costs $2 per person.
Absolutely delicious! We ordered some appetizers, a cup of soup and dessert! Was not disappointed! Probably the best cup of shells I've ever had! And the Beignets were only heavenly! A little work to get there because you can't drive directly there, you need to park over the road and a shuttle there for $2/person every way. Beautiful beach view! Probably the best restaurant meal we had during our trip to California!
Have fun at a while to eat at the beach. The food was great as the service. It is a bit expensive for breakfast items, but the portions are very fair and the view is great. If you are in **** Marys, they have a very good one, but it's expensive. It's almost a meal itself. Below is the Corned Beef Hasch (I had better and would not order it again), Lemons Ricotta Pancake (very good) and an omelette with potatoes.
Had a very pleasant evening tonight. Weather perfect. Waited about hour which is fine cause there's so much to do while waiting or enjoy I should say.. we ate down the lower part and it is admirable of the waiters and waitresses working a shift down there as they have to walk back and forth and carry trays all that way too.. I was exhausted watching her . lol.. She was so amazing and kind. Wished i remembered her name that's an issue with Me.. I forget names!! And the food was great .. if u time it right you'll be sitting and watching the sunset like we did .. Its weekend nights down there so it was busy .. But worth it ..
