Annie's - Newport

We tried the lobster eggs benedict and it was amazing. The omelets were also delicious and came in generous portions. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was superb and it was fun to dine outside.

We decided to try Annie's based on the suggestion of a local. The food was mediocre, the service was awful, and the staff's interactions with each other created a very unpleasant atmosphere.

The dining experience at this restaurant was excellent! We particularly enjoyed the mussel chowder, which we found to be the best we've ever tried. Even upscale restaurants cannot match Annie's chowder. In addition, the staff was very friendly during our two visits to Newport.

My friend and I had 2 pieces of fish and chips each. it was delicious. I couldn't eat all pommes, but didn't want to let a fish on our tellers. our server, jamie, was great. would it definitely go back there if ever again in newport.

Good- not great. The OJ was fresher squeezed and was good. The coffee was hot and good, but hard to get a refill. Cups were so small you drank it so quickly that you wanted a refill. For all of breakfast we got one refill. The French toast was good, butter was great! The corn muffin (grilled was enjoyed by all. Eggs were cooked perfectly for each of us. The diner is small, no room for a big party unless you split up. On a busy morning this could be hard to get a table. We’d go back though.
