Brown's Bagel - Newmarket

Phone not answered. Website out of date. Windows dark with closed sign during posted opening hours. Apparently one of those small businesses that can't get the simple things right.

Great bagels sand pleasant service. We have been dissatisfied with the bagels at our old hangout and we are very pleased with Browns. We orders a half dozen to go, but plan to return to try their sandwiches and coffee!

This owner makes the best bagels! Wonderful consistency, texture and size. Spices, etc., are generously applied. I just swallowed an EVERYTHING bagel in record time. I should slow down to enjoy it. I'll go slower next time. All bagels are fresh daily. When they run out, you can choose from fresh baked muffins and other sweet treats. They offer coffee and teas, too, but the freshest bagels are the draw, for me.

Best Bagels anywhere. Bob cares about the quality of his products. I could eat these every day, but then I would have to join a gym. My favorite is the Everything, but they're all good. Try the English Muffin bagel, an original, created here. In addition to bagels, there is coffee and other treats. You can also get a variety of cream cheeses and beverages. Delicious, reasonably priced. Local.

Browns is back baby!! Woo hoo. Finally great local bagels again. Had the egg and my wife had the spinach. We also bought their pizza bagels which look good. The bagels we had were so fresh. This place has changed hands recently and the quality of the bagels and their funky open and closed hours showed it. I'm so happy to have them back. If you love bagels like I do, just go.
