Giraffe - Newham

Very disappointing last night. Waitress was extremely rude when we arrived and despite it being very quiet refused our request for a specific seating area quoting it was for six not four (no more than four the rest of the evening). Waiter taking our order was better with drinks and main food served quickly but side order was delayed! The food was just OK. Two of three coffees ordered where cold and had to be replaced. All in all a very disappointing evening and I won't be visiting again any time soon.

Visited today with hubby and new born wanted a quiet area because i was breast feeding. Waiter was brillant put me in a quiet closed section and when his manager questioned why i wasnt made to feel uncomfortable as he explained to his manager once he had seated us. He tended our needs. He had excellent knowledge of the food and beverage menu's. Ive never been before but we will be coming back.

Called here whilst shopping with a friend. We only wanted something light so had the three tapas. It was really tasty. And the prosecco cocktail was delicious. I’d like to return and try the full menu at some time. Staff were friendly and the service was good!

Poor food. Mediocre service. The chains should nail this in this environment. There should be queues out of the door. There wasn't. That should have been the clue. The perfect example of how restaurants have been dumbed down so much that people feel it's worthy of 5 stars.

My sister and I were those customers who came in right before the restaurant closed, after searching for a place to eat for a while. Despite it being the last half an hour of their shift, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
