Love Sushi Roll - NEWHALL

You can't go wrong with sushi for lunch. I enjoyed every roll that I tried here, but my favorite two were the Vegas Roll and the Fire Love roll. They were both packed with great flavors. The cream cheese is a must. The service was excellent. The waitress was really nice and friendly and kept checking on our party. The ambiance was nice it's a quiet and slight romantic setting with low lighting, making it a great place for a date. I really enjoyed the Fire love Roll. Not only is it a delicious salmon roll, but it is also quite entertaining to watch the Roll cook in front of you while the fire goes out. I really enjoyed having lunch here today. Food here is always really tasty and fresh! Everyone working here is always very nice and attentive. We love getting the fresh oysters, tako yaki, and any of the sushi. Ambiance is nice and dark.

The food was good. Unfortunately, we ordered an appetizer that came two minutes before the main course I asked about this with no sympathy and no adjustment and because we were a party of six we were required to tip I think 18%. But we had no time to eat a $12 appetizer. we should have returned it.

My favorite sushi place in SCV. Always fast service and good food. I usually order to-go and get their California roll, rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll and the takoyaki!

Love this place! Our family regularly comes to their restaurant on a weekly basis. The chefs, server, and host/managers are friendly. Being a regular customer, we have witnessed the place go through short staffing (from what I've observed) in the past but they managed to still provide good quality food. They now have this one young male server who is extremely professional and good at his craft. This makes the experience even better.
