Bidrage med feedbackAttached to Scratchleys is Battlesticks Bar which is a modern Bar with a relaxed feel. this review is for Battlesticks not Scratchleys although I couldn’t search Battlesticks. This bar is great for couples, groups having a bite to eat or a main meal. Offering an assortment of tapas. We ordered marinated mixed olives which were nicely marinated warm. Also orders scallops prawn dumplings with spicy chilli soy sauce, these were steamed perfectly very nice balance of flavours yum. Friday’s from 12-6pm is happy hour with a great selection of cocktails beer and wine. Beers were $6 this was for your normal beers like Tooheys New etc, and a selection of other beers like Kosciuszko pale ale. The staff were happy accomodating very friendly.
What a lovely way to soak in the beautiful view on the wharf. The seafood was very fresh and it was a lovely balance with the fresh fruit plus the cocktails were delicious. We definitely recommend this place!
No lobster, and there were items on the menu which were unavailable. Otherwise, a great meal in a beautiful setting and would have given 9 stars.
Great friendly service, excellent location and average food. This isn't a criticism the food was perfectly acceptable. The chargrilled seafood platter makes a theatrical entrance as a huge plate piled high... But the vast majority was fruit !! and lettuce, the seafood unseasoned and the chargrilled food was a small portion drenched in pesto. Not exactly worth the $72 price tag but fresh and edible. The winner was the kids meal excellent value at $10 and chicken schnitzel heaven.
