Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant

Fabulous service and delicious food, always quick. This is one of our favourite regular Chinese restaurants and we visit at least once a month. Great value and vegetarian options.

Tonight we had curry king prawns and rice and 6 prawn cutlets - food was not nice. The worst chinese we have had. We used to think it was one of the best in Newcastle but now we will never be back.

On Friday night we ordered home delivery. Food was fresh and hot and full of flavour. Delivered on time with no mistakes. Good local Chinese i will be back.

Good Chinese, but probably a little bit pricey for the venue.Service ok but not busy when we were there. Open plan dining on the Main Street with big full length Windows no curtains so felt a bit like a goldfish in a bowl, but may suit some. Benefit is being able to watch some of the colourful Mayfield locals go about there business?

First visit, will definitely be back!Excellent service (we said we were in a hurry, and staff went out of their way to accommodate us). Good value for money, large portions & very good food!Menu has many of the classic dishes, and our only complaint is that our stomachs weren't big enough!They can get busy, so it wouldnt hurt to call ahead!
