Best chips in Newcastle Portland Green’s local heroes Last time I went they were shutting in 5 minutes so gave me the rest of the chips for free

Went here as our usual chippy was closed. The shop and staff were nice. The food was as you would expect most chippys to be, average. Only down side was the portion sizes were very small for the money charged. Wouldn,t like to see what the kids portions are like!

The staff were very friendly to me when they asked me what I wanted to order and I said I would like to order a Cheese patty in a bread bun, that is what I call excellent customer service.

Where do I start...I pre ordered our meal for collection at 12:15pm. Being good Friday I was expecting to wait but my order was ready. When I arrived for collection the shop was professionally set up, the staff were equipped with all of the required ppe equipment. The outside of the shop was marked with 2 meter spots to prevent spread of covid-19. I had a 20 minute drive back home the food was still very hot tasted amazing. This is one of the best fish chips I’ve had in a long time, even my children loved it. I would highly recommend Wretham plaice to anyone. Thank you for a fantastic, professional reliable service. I usually love the food from here but I don't know what went wrong this evening it was only time I didn't enjoy it it was cold, the burger bun wasn't buttered it waste of £10.70. It won't stop me order from there even though I binned the lot.
