Old style pub with loads of little alcoves etc. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. For pie lovers this is a dream location loads of different pies,mash,chips,peas,gravies and not badly priced considering quayside location £14:50. Nice clean toilets with friendly efficient staff

Amazing little spot. Simple step menu with great choices, wish I could have had half n half on the potatoes! Would recommend the cheesy mash or roast potatoes

Came here after my retirement lunch, my first time, and it was a great atmosphere and good drinks. I became a little unwell and the staff, without being asked, were very attentive, giving me water and opening the door for fresh air. They continued to check if I was ok and if they could do anything further. I will definitely be back. Thank you all so much for your kindness.

Popped in as wanted to see what this little place had to offer ..and not so little..was fab if you like history and that old look ...but the real joy was the food ..omg the pie and roasties was lush ...and the pease pudding...just made it ....will definitely return on next trip ...
