Bidrage med feedbackSimply one of the best burgers I ever had along with impeccable service, would simply recommend everyone and plan to get more! Updated Pandemic Review: Simply the best place I have eaten in these difficult strange times. Staff are friendly and wear masks, food came fast and was plentiful, and things were clearly spaced apart. Happy to see this place opened again and hope that it is because this place is amazing. And if you decide to come, try the boozy butterbeer. While the idea of butterberry was made by a terf who writes bad assistant Fanfic, the Boozy butterberry cocktail is notch.
Fantastic. I've lived in Newcastle for almost three years and that's the best burger I had from a country mile. Service was exceptional, attentive, but not pushy. Is definitely my way to Burger Square now
Hidden jewel. Decoration and food. Very nice staff and atmosphere. Will definitely go back. The background music was also great. Good DJ:
TL;DR: 5/5 beer 5/5 dirty food! I'm here several times. Really nice beer selection that changes regularly. I have eaten here once and had a really dirty burger with cheese and bacon (and an extra patty . The staff of the bar are knowledgeable and happy to help. The food service was a little slow BUT in a good way as I would point out that it was freshly cooked when served it was super. I'm curious to return for a Sunday dinner in the future.
We had the Mac and cheese and the 25 quid meat platter. A one star review bumped to two as they offered kindly to recompense some of the bill, although since we'd paid upfront at the bar it wasn't possible. If they cleaned their smoker it'd be a three I know it's meant to taste smokey but compared to somewhere like reds or bierrex, this just tasted like burnt wood. Took a full pack of mints to get rid of the taste. If they served warm food, that wasn't dried out, it'd be a four. And five if they served Mac and cheese that wasnt macaroni and raw cheddar put in a microwave and actually had the panko crumbs advertised. Other than that, nice chips, coleslaw was fine, and the drinks were great. The cuts of meat would have been lovely if cooked and served correctly. What a shame, might try again in a year or two.
