Had fish and chips for dinner. Enormous portions and a good selection of beers. Could have been given a bigger table for our large party.

Have been here many times for drinks and always found the staff lovely and it to be a nice busy welcoming bar. Came here this week for a quick lunch and got the land platter and salt and chilli chicken. Eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs as it was absolutely huge! Massive portion, very good quality and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back

Would like to start by saying we were super grateful as a walk in to be given a table because I know they were fully booked. Food was so average. The salt and chilli chicken starter was unreal but there was a little hair in it we didn’t want to mention. The Sunday dinner main course was just so average. The stuffing was cold. Everything else was warm. It just wasn’t great sadly. Service wise everyone was super friendly and I can’t fault them for that but I did have to ask for gravy 3 times. I guess it’s because they were so busy and like I say they were very friendly and welcoming. Overall disappointing as we’d been recommended by quite a few people and probably wouldn’t return.
