The restaurant has great decor and ambiance with beautiful staff. It's unfortunate that the food is the worst Italian I have ever had. The pasta sauce resembles tomato soup, is chunky, and has way too much cream. A pre-packaged pasta meal would be much better in comparison.

We have been frequenting La Vita for a few months now, and I must say, I cannot find a single fault to tell my wife about. During our last visit, we were warmly welcomed as usual and promptly seated, with a beautiful bottle of their house-made red wine brought to our table. I started with the Calamari, which consisted of succulent rings of squid in a crispy batter, served with a garlic mayo. My wife opted for the fish cakes as an appetizer and raved about how perfect they were. For the main course, she chose the Pollo Michele, cooked to perfection and served with delicious Lyonnaise potatoes on the side. I decided to go for half and half pizza Ciccio with linguine mare de terra, and I must say it was the best Italian meal I have had since returning from Sorrento in August. Although we were both full, we couldn't resist trying the desserts - I had the unmissable Cointreau brulee, while my wife enjoyed the caramelized banana. As we left, we were already planning our next meal at La Vita. The restaurant is always bustling and has an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night, enjoying bottle after bottle of wine. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. We took advantage of their January social offer, which made the experience even more enjoyable. La Vita is the best restaurant in Heaton, and the surroundings make it a must-visit.

The dining experience was decent, but not outstanding. The pizzas were delicious, but the soup was lacking in taste. The atmosphere was not very inviting.

I have eaten in la vita many times in the last few years, including Sunday lunch is the eating alway beautiful the staff is friendly and polite. my man and I have tried various meals from the menu and found all of them to be delicious. we were also there in the night when the dielady had a problem with her card in the chip and pin machine mine and all the others went through no effort.

Great decor and ambiance lovely staff. It’s such a shame the food is the worst Italian I’ve ever had. All the pasta sauce looks tastes like tomato soup it’s gross and way too much cream very very runny. A ready meal pasta is a zillion times better.
