Restaurant looks very clean and nice, but VERY COLD inside, way too cold for a late Saturday evening. They had no heat on. The rose tea

Visited with 5 friends, chosen because of the number of Chinese students eating there. We ordered 3 set meals for 2(all the same) and pints of beer. The restaurant became increasingly cold, so much that I had to to put my scarf on! The staff said that the heating was at the maximum and could not be turned up, and provided a small fan heater, which proved to be totally useless. Whilst eating our starter, (which was OK, but nothing special) a strong unpleasant smell of faeces was coming from the toilets! The staff sprayed Febreze, which didn't solve the problem. It was so strong that we unanimously decided that we couldn't eat the rest of the meal. After some discussion, we paid the bill and left. From our conversation with the staff it was obvious that they were used to getting similar complaints. The manager was not available! The first and last time that I will visit, stay well clear!

Very disappointing. Seemed ok when we first arrived with a few other tables occupied but cleared our very quickly. The restaurant then became very cold. We were told the heating was on the highest setting so couldn’t be turned up. They did provide a small heater but it made little difference. We had the duck starter which was OK but while eating it the smell from the toilets became stronger and stronger. We mentioned this and they said they’d spray some Fabreze! They did, which disguised the smell briefly with a strong fabreze smell instead. The smell and the heating are obviously a regular problem. We cancelled the rest of the meal and, after an argument on what we should pay for, paid up and left. We were told the manager could not be contacted. I would suggest avoiding this place and will certainly not return.

Firstly, the menu we were provided was not the same as the one advertised outside. I was initially happy to see a vegan selection but when I ordered the crispy Asian salad that was advertised with VG (vegan) it was just a plate of shredded lettuce with salad cream on. Salad cream has eggs as far as I know. The main course of vegan duck was fine if overly salty and sweet. My friend ordered soft noodles and they were horrendous, salty and greasy. The coconut rice and frog legs dishes were okay but not nice enough to save the experience. Additionally, we were charged 20p to take the rice away after the meal. The server was polite and friendly but I didn 't feel comfortable complaining because what can you say to someone serving you wilted lettuce with salad cream for £5.80. The bill came to over £50 for two people, it was painful.

Visited with a friend the staff 2 girls were lovely very friendly welcoming etc However once inside the state of the redrausrant was not good Also a bit cold the day we visited Table was not very clean Then we orders Soup was tastless Ribs cooked about 2 days earlier hard tasteless and the sauce was cold I would not recommend this place until the people who own it clean up the place a bit please and your good really needs to be much better I appreciate the last year has been difficult for you and I even hate leaving this review but my experience was terrible!!!!!
