Bailey's Vintage Tea Room

Returning to “ Castle “ for family visit we took a stroll up from our Hotel and stumbled upon Baileys. The mere sight on the menu of Oatcakes suggested we have to enter. We were not disappointed, it was like a full breakfast but better. The staff were friendly and funny and it was great to hear,” tara duck” as we departed. Cracking little quaint coffee shop. Highly recommended

The staff at this restaurant are welcoming, the food is excellent, and the tea room has a charming ambiance. All dishes are freshly made to order and beautifully presented on elegant china plates. We enjoyed sandwiches with a generous side salad, coleslaw, and crisps. The prices are very reasonable. The fresh cream scones were especially delicious.

Visited this morning for breakfast, absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble .. Staff very friendly and we made very welcome.. Will certainly be going back. .

Came here for afternoon tea for a friends baby shower, the sandwiches and cakes were delicious especially the scones. Food was presented very well and definitely worth the money. the staff were friendly kept us all topped up with drinks. Great selection of cakes and sandwiches definitely would recommend

We arrived at 13.35 ,(I 'd just brought a parking ticket and finally our food arrived at 14 .28 ,simple order 2 toasted sandwiches and oatcake with bacon .the service was non- apologetic,my husband 's toasted sandwich wasn 't toasted and his soup was tasteless and like baby food ,much too thick .no coleslaw with the 'salad ' 2 slices of tomato and wet iceberg .very disappointed as this could be so much better ...it 's quite a pretty place ,or used to be.
