Stopped for Pie and Chips. I have to say, the fresh batch of chips were properly cooked and crispy, well drained and then salted nicely. The pie was crusty/flakey and cooked in an oven not just soft and gooey, done in the microwave. I'm very pleased that I tried this place. Paid by card, no quibbles. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. The young lady preparing the food was on her own and busy, but very polite and did a 10/10 job with the food. Oh my goodness , what can I say , My Husband and I had a breakfast there this morning which was Amazing , we tipped the service as they were super friendly and on our way home from Newcastle Emlyn Town, we picked up a large chips , which was large , my goodness it was xtra xtra large for £3.20 . The chips were Amazing , crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside . My husband and I agreed these were the best chips we had ever had in 65 years of our life. The staff were super friendly this morning and this evening . First time at this place. Not impressed at all. Ordered chips, sausage in batter and a curry sauce. Chips weren't fresh...re-heated or just left for hours keeping warm.
