China One - Newburyport

Did I just want to do my job and call an ****? over the phone before I could even finish my first sentence. I'm glad to know that your company is doing business. Would give ZERO stars if I could.

It is so hard to find good quality Chinese American food anywhere in the North Coast or Newburyport area. Finally, I found a little jewel of a place. They can't beat their 9.95 lunch specialties. They use high quality chicken, the many places are not it was delicate and tasteful. The food was NOT greasy roasted rice had great texture and was not a lumpy mess. The egg roll was the hands down, which I had in MA or in a very long time. It was fresh and not fat. I've been in the food service for over 20 years and will come back regularly. Very recommended. I had the garlic chicken plate with egg roll and pan roasted dumplings. The owner THANK YOU for providing great food.

Delicious food and fast service Edit: had to change my rating because recently the food/service hasn't been the greatest, sometimes it's overcooked/burnt, the boneless pork ribs were the sweetest I've ever tried, and way too oily compared to other places. Also, after picking the order up and getting home we realised there was something missing in our order. But their teriyaki chicken/beef sticks are tasty

Food was excellent as usual. I do want to give a shout out to the girl who delivered our food, unaware China wok was short of help they asked a customer to deliver it when she came we tipped her thinking she worked for them She stated you don?t have to do that I?ve never done this before she was happy and pleasant and what a thoughtful person to help out. I didn?t answer the door had I, Id have gotten more info. Thank you all for this effort I don?t do reviews but this is a pure example of helping and team work. I don?t know who you are but he told me you were young hats off to parents for raising a giving child.

The staff is very rude. We went on a Sunday and they charged us as per their wish for the Thai dish_ saying it's a Sunday, we have changed rates. The total also didn't add up and we tried to understand the receipt and the staff was just too rude. They explained it's taxes but on our bill there was no mention of thia. I understand that such things happen; they could have explained it politely. Food was good.. salt was a little less but overall good
