Starting Gate - Newbury

We were disappointed to discover upon arrival that the restaurant was not serving any food. It seemed that this was not a temporary issue, which left us puzzled as to why we were able to make a reservation.

When we arrived, we were disappointed to discover that the kitchen was closed without any prior notice. Nonetheless, I wasn't particularly bothered by it, as the restaurant seemed dilapidated.

We held our grandson here awake and the personal was amazingly very friendly, even asked if we wanted to play a soft music in the background something I didn't even think very courteous all round and made such a sad time simply recommended for all of us very

Great eating and excellent customer service always made to feel welcome.

Lovely atmosphere, great grub, clean ale/beer. Worth a visit 100%.
