Red Wok - Newbury Park

I really enjoyed the Fried Rice and Kung Pao combination. The lunch special offers a generous portion of delicious food at a price that's $3 to $5 cheaper than most other places.

--- What I was looking for in Newbury Park, California. A year ago, the parents of our Chinese student cooked a meal for us, and it was fantastic. We were eager to experience that preparation again. I inquired whether a dish could be adapted at Red Wok, and they delivered perfectly! I was assured they were ready to accommodate my requests. The restaurant is small, but the portions are generous. We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary Cantonese strips with sweet sauce and hot mustard for dipping. We were the only English-speaking table, but the owners were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. --- Overall, it was a delightful experience!

Highly recommended! This is truly one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. It's small and inviting, offering a wonderful variety of dishes that are carefully prepared. Unlike many other Chinese restaurants, the food here is exceptionally flavorful. We can't wait to come back and enjoy more. We absolutely love it!

I've been going to Red Wok for 10 years. It is a great restaurant for authentic Mandarin kitchen and the family had so many memories.

I love their cheery disposition and the food Is very good. In particular the garlic chicken is my favorite. The shrimp noodle soup is also very good..with a wonderful delicate broth in the background.
