Patticakes At Tioga - Newberry

The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious, and the staff are amazing! Although it is a bit far from UF, it is definitely worth the journey. I also love that there are plenty of outlets for computers and phones. I give it a perfect 10/10 rating!

The coffee is fantastic, the quiches are stunning, the cupcakes are delicious, and the location is perfect for staying and relaxing, whether you are looking to get some work done or catch up with a friend.

The coffee and muffin at this restaurant were excellent, but I will not be returning. I stopped by Patticakes while waiting for my dad to finish surgery, hoping to pass the time. I requested a milk frother in my drink, and the young woman taking my order suggested putting it in a smaller cup. However, when another employee made my drink, she seemed annoyed by the request for a smaller cup and overfilled it with milk. When I politely asked her to pour some out, she made me feel uncomfortable. Feeling unwelcome, I left without asking for the Wi-Fi password and went to a different café instead. Although the coffee was good, I will only consider returning when I am in a better mental state.

Excellent cupcakes. friendly staff. I wish we had landed there early so that we might have seen a greater choice.

So the coffee is good, thats not the issue. The main issue is the length of time it takes. Every time I go, it takes like 10-15 minutes to get my drink and it’s just one drink, a cafe con leche. And it’s because the people making the drinks are too busy flirting with each other to make the drinks in a timely manner. It’s really annoying and quite honestly, I’d rather just drink a few more minutes down the road to Starbucks. It would be one thing if it was every once in a while but it’s every time and it’s the same two people flirting with each other causing the delay.
