Huddle House - Newberry

The restaurant is spotless, and the waitstaff is very welcoming. Although you might have to wait a little bit before being seated, it is definitely worth it. I really wish I had taken a picture of my dish. I ordered a medium-well ribeye with two sides, and it was cooked to perfection—no sauce needed! The seasoning was just right!

There was a bit of a wait to get seated since this is a new restaurant in Newberry, but it was definitely worth it. Tawanna informed us right away that there would be a 15-minute wait, which I appreciated. She ended up being our waitress, and she was fantastic. The portion sizes are generous for the price, and the servers are all wonderful. They took the time to come by and see my baby, who smiled at each of them. The atmosphere is great, the people are lovely, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend this place!

The booths are quite cramped, leaving little space to relax, and the food was disappointing overall. I wasn't impressed at all.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming as soon as you step into the restaurant. My family and I were allowed to choose our seats, and our drinks arrived right away. I have to say, the southwest bowl was absolutely delicious—better than I remember! We also tried the southwest wrap and the strawberry waffle, both of which were fantastic. We definitely plan to visit again soon.

I was really impressed with the service we received from Brittany. She clearly takes pride in her work and is dedicated to ensuring a wonderful dining experience. I found the MVP breakfast to be excellent; I actually prefer this waffle over those from Waffle House. My wife ordered an omelet, but I wasn’t quite sure what kind of eggs they used. Whether it was powdered or some sort of premix, it just did not taste good—it honestly had a cartoonish shade of yellow. This restaurant is brand new and still finding its footing. If they continue to hire more people like Brittany, they will certainly earn a better rating from me, as it’s always essential to have staff who genuinely care about their customers’ satisfaction.
