Bidrage med feedbackThe food is awful. We ordered two grilled ham sandwiches via their in person restaurant app. The sandwiches were stale before they started. One tiny thin slice of ham, little cheese and the bread was likely stale . Very pricey, too. To make matters worse, they double charged me. I suspected a double charge as the app was clunky during my order. I asked a staff member to check it out and she confirmed two charges. She took a few moments to correct the error. No luck. They double charged my card. Bad food and bad error charging. Avoid, please.
Horrible, burger burnt outside, raw knside. Fries were not good at all and it was expensive. Really wordt experience ever
If you get your food, it is very decent for airport food, if quite pricey. However, on my most recent visit I ordered, waited for more than an hour (you are fully charged, including tip, before you ever get anything at your table) and never got my food. Staff was uniquely unhelpful and refused to check with kitchen. I eventually had to leave because otherwise I would have missed my flight. The vendor makes it incredibly difficult to reach anyone and request a refund so I am still out my money....
Probably the only good, not counting the value for money spent, thing was quality of the food. Burger was delicious and Nicosia salad was a very good. Love the craft beer selection. It’s pricey, but that’s airport location. Service is weird. You have to scan QR code, enter personal data to pay. Doesn’t work well, because you have to wait for prolonged period to get a food order. Some previous guests told us to to inquire to the server. Then everything unfolded. The best is to enter the premise not to wait the hostess. Nobody was there to seat you. Some guests left, some seated themselves. Ambiance is standard, but be careful, floor is very slippery, specially towards the back of room
The service, however, was lacking. If you’re in a hurry (like if you only have about an hour), I recommend looking elsewhere. It took over 45 minutes for my food to arrive, and I only got water refills after sitting there for 35 minutes. When I tried to catch the attention of the servers, I was simply waved away. The restaurant was less than half full, which makes it hard to understand why the food took so long to arrive. Given that this is a busy airport location in Newark, I expected better service, especially at this price point. Additionally, be aware that the ordering system automatically sets the tip at 18%, so check that before you finalize your payment.
