Portucale Restaurant Bar - Newark

The staff was very friendly and the food was terrific!

We were thankfully able to make a last minute reservation here after the restaurant we wer initially planning on going to had an hour wait and we had concert tickets. What a great find. The sangria was great. We had shrimp in garlic sauce which was excellent. I had steak Portucale was was delicious. Everyone else really likes their food too. Parking was tight. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Decent but not exceptional. Don Pepe is far superior.

Ordered four main courses. All were fantastic. Octopus, Bife Portucale both made to perfection. Also had paelha marinheria, camarao recheado also very good
