Disgusting, just saw how they wash the forks plates cups etc etc etc no hot water machine the lady was washing with no detergent ,no sponge just water and her hands and to top it off she cleanse them with a dirty kitchen towel. So disgusted never coming back to this place.... what a great place to get a transmission disease

The owner and his wife are warm, funny and lovely people. Everyone who works there has a smile they remember from one weekend to the next what we order! Love this place. It has true Ironbound spirit.

This is a small and very quaint place. People are very friendly and you won't feel out of place at all. Great tasting pastries, deli sandwiches, pies and coffee made nicely! You can't go wrong in this cafe. It could be crowded in the morning... That alone speaks volumes about the food

Delicious and affordable cash only cafe in Lafayette, close to Seabras supermarket and Ferry street. $11 breakfast for two people. Two salami and cheese sandwiches toasted $3 each, galão (Portuguese coffee with espresso), empanada, and a pão de queijo. Can’t beat these prices anywhere in Newark!!
