Nordstrom Grill – Christiana Mall Newark

Fresh delicious food served in quiet elegance for a mall restaurant. Attentive service too. Highly recommend for a lovely spot to meet a friend. The Alaskan Salmon and Roasted Pear salad is my favorite.

Today was only the second time I dined at this restaurant for lunch, as I usually opt for takeout or Doordash. I decided to try some new dishes in addition to my usual favorites (crab bisque, gem salad, and crispy chicken salad) and the quality was consistent with what I expected. However, I was disappointed to find that the hospitality was lacking today, especially considering the frequent support I have given this establishment over the years. When my daughter and I arrived, we did not feel welcomed by the host. It is important for every customer to feel appreciated and valued when dining out.

The food took so long and the restaurant was not busy. of course, my eating is not even enough, but twice again. I'm very disappointed and not sure I'm back.

Nice looking facility with open cooking and nice decoration and outside light. Food options were good, however, most of our meals were not served hot, which detracted from our experience.

I returned my food uneaten, as it was not fresh. The manager apologized for the inconvenience. However, the server was rude and disrespectful. I have always had positive experiences at other Nordstrom Cafes, but this particular location was disappointing. I will not be returning or recommending it to others.
