Alvarado's Mexican - Newalla

We come almost every Friday night. It's a quiet little restaurant. No chaos. I love the quick in and out. The waitress and hostess are always kind and polite. But tonight we were turned away at 745 pm, because they said they were closing. On our Friday date night. Where we come every Friday night. At 745 pm. When their website and door says they close at 9 pm. No explanation. No please come back tomorrow. Nothing. Just more than a little disappointed tonight.

This place is one of the best quick Mexican food spots in the area. Food is always really good every time I've gone there. Two different kinds of queso, red salsa, and relish all part of the normal setup! Lunch specials are some of the tasties deals on the menu for your mouth and your wallet.

Our favorite Mexican place! Great food, salsa, tortillas! (Wish they also had free sopapillas like Ted's.

Polite, courteous staff...but the food has lost its flavor... its bland its a shame, we used to frequent the restaurant
