Villa Cemita - New York

I and my friend went to the groundless brunch. my meal came back and there was hardly any food literally was a few plantain chips, rice, a black bean paste and two eggs. I was hungry after the meal, was not satisfied at all. the sangria was very watered and at the end of my experience the couple had too much to drink in the table next to us and had a whole pitcher on the floor spilled on my girlfriend. the couple was obviously drunk and was not addressed by the administration, they avoid this place

I had the duck tacos and oktopus tacos and both were fantastic. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and beat the perfect cocktails to couple with our tacos. the menu is diverse and eating came out on time. it was great about really happy and relaxed atmosphere. I asked them to play the NBA game on TV and they were so courteous. if they want more of a private romantic experience, they have a back space where it is less crowded and more beautiful. both rooms are beautiful and clean with tasteful furnishings. we are back for more than local, thank you again villa cemita team!

Foul food and they had big screen tw 's reports the coral virus. really bad eating and lame service!

I booked a noon brunch reservation at Villa Cemita for 6 people on OpenTable, turned out only 5 people could make it and I tried calling the restaurant multiple times but maybe had the wrong phone number because no one answered a few times or a man picked up who said he was not with a restaurant. I told the hostess about it so hopefully, it gets sorted out. Villa Cemita was empty when we first arrived but quickly became packed with brunch. The bottomless brunch deal is good, the entrees are $17 and individual drinks are $10 so if you think you want to have 2 or more drinks the bottomless deal is the way to go $37). Our service wasn't slow, maybe they need more servers for the large groups that come in for brunch. He couldn't keep straight our drink orders and I asked for no meat in my entree I'm vegetarian). Sadly, it came out with meat on it and had to be sent back. The food was good, but some of my friends got the omelet and there was no cheese which is kinda weird. Also, it's cash only for brunch which we knew going in so everyone brought cash but having to figure out splitting a cash-only bill after a few mimosas is difficult. Overall, if a good bottomless deal and a leisurely brunch is what you're interested in this is a good spot, just don't expect efficient service.

Honestly this place did an amazing job for my 24th birthday, from giving me a shot from a gun to singing. Food was amazing portions are a little small. My only feed back would be music is too loud and margarita pitchers have no alcohol.
