The Park Room - New York

One might be wary of restaurants with great views. The view was stunning and the Dining Room was elegant and quiet. However, that's where the positives end. We arrived on a weekday at 1:30 and were immediately informed that we needed to have our order in by 2:00. The menu, while not unreasonable, had a strange selection. One of their specialties was vegetable ravioli, which turned out to be overcooked pasta in a watery sauce. My guest's pastrami sandwich was extremely dry. The service was cold and indifferent. Thankfully, the view and company were enjoyable. I will now admire Central Park from a different spot.

Dont go for brunch as they dont serve it. It is only regular lunch

The food was excellent as always, and the wait staff was friendly and efficient.

Beautiful view just over the treetops of Central Park. Service was top notch food was very good as well.

The restaurant is in desperate need of a decor refresh.
