Bidrage med feedbackExcellent but somewhat expensive. If you can grab their happy hour oyster deal, it's great. The oysters are delicious but tiny. Their spicy fried chicken sandwich was delicious, as were all the cocktails there. The highlight of the exprience for me was theSmoke cocktail which was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. My friends and I agreed that it tasted like being in a woodcabin. It was phenomenal. I've taken to recreating it at home.
ROKC had a very nice and welcoming vibe. It was a cute little establishment that served great drinks and good food. The drink menu is expansive. You would have no problem finding any drink you could like! The food was good, but I wish they had largerportions. Expect to pay the same amount for the drink as you do food. The whole menu is between $15-$20.
It is with a heavy heart I write this review. I fell in love with rokc shortly after it reopened post pandemic shutdown. my bf introduced me. I've never been rambling or karaage. her kyoto made my palette soar and the karaage was sooo yummy. but since the late the recipe was unconsistent, sometimes the cryoto is very sharp, then others are not so much. They,ve reduced the number of braided pigs in the rugs, down through one and sometimes the fat is badly trimmed and I get a piece, that is usually fat. the karaage has also changed and not for the better. it was juicy and tasteful, now it is over boiled and only a more salty profile. there are not many good trembling spots in nyc, let alone in the north manhattan. I really wished that they would come back to the way they were before with a whole heart.
A popular Japanese restaurant. It's an intimate venue with some authentic items on the menu. They also have Japanese liquor. I recommend the place.
Great drinks, ramen, and oysters! Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
