In all honesty, the food at the restaurant was good but nothing extraordinary. We were disappointed when our server abruptly took away the bread we were eating without a word. Our dinner arrived quickly and was nicely presented, but we were not asked if we needed anything else. When my wife tried to order an additional side of mashed potatoes, the server simply walked away. Despite trying to be patient, our server never checked on us or asked if we needed anything after making eye contact with us multiple times. When we finally requested to speak to the manager, our waiter avoided us and did not get the manager for us. After a long wait, we had to ask a different server for the manager, who seemed uninterested in our concerns. The manager eventually came over and simply promised to talk to the staff about our experience. We were offered a dessert as a gesture of apology, but my wife was too upset to accept it. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the service at this highly-rated restaurant, especially considering the long journey we had made for my wife's first NYC dining experience. It was a frustrating and uncomfortable situation that left us questioning the restaurant's reputation for excellent food and service.
I went to this restaurant for a late dinner and was impressed by how fresh everything tasted. The place was bustling and even the bar was busy. While I didn't get an Italian feel, the steak was exceptional. The chopped salad was also a favorite of mine.
I have been coming to this restaurant since it first opened. The atmosphere is lively and I particularly enjoy the accents of the Serbian staff. I usually stick to my usual order of the bone-in rib-eye, but today I tried the lamb chops and they were incredible. The key lime pie reminded me of the time I was in Key West and went on a pie binge. This place consistently delivers amazing food. Come here hungry and be prepared to spend a bit of money.
The food was good, I thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Bass, it had one of the best textures I've tried on this fish. Service was very attentive. The crowd that night was a bit loud, which isn't a bad thing just not what I expected. Overall really goodrestaurant.
