Bidrage med feedbackThe waitress checking us in was rude. Despite booking in advance the table wasn't set up for 7 and they had to move furniture from other diners tables. We ordered the famous waldorf salad and the walnuts were missing. Overall disappointing and expensive.. definitely got the vibe they were on wind down due to the impending closure. The waiter that served was the saving grace and was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast of fried eggs and bacon, toast extra, coffee extra $90. With incredibly slow service. Good thing they are closing.
We went there to say goodbye to the Waldorf. Despite having made resos, we had to wait 20 minutes for the rude maitre d' to attend to us. When he took our name, he stepped away for another 5 minutes and then led us to a table that hadn't been cleaned. The food was OK, but the service left A LOT to be desired. I guess they didn't care since they were closing.
Lots of food and options. Very helpful staff. Sad to see the Waldorf close. Hopefully brunch will be back in a few years
I truly hope the Sunday Brunch will return after the renovation!!!! It was the best brunch buffet I have ever experienced. My only complaint is the Beef Wellington could have been more moist. I've experienced some amazing brunches in around the world but the Peacock Alley Sunday brunch is the best. The female harpist was extraordinary too. My husband and I are accustomed to great musicians entertaining diners in Manhattan restaurants but she was truly fantastic. The staff was top caliber and so was the food. The Sunday Brunch is definitely one of the top Manhattan experiences. Please bring it back!
