Osteria al Doge - New York

The Italian food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, making it perfect for a date night or pre-Broadway dinner! We tried the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and Pappardelle Al Sugo D'Agnello and they were both wonderful!

We made a spontaneous decision to visit this restaurant after a show. The service was excellent, and the food exceeded our expectations, especially for being so late at night. The salmon ravioli was absolutely delicious!

I am not going to disclose how long I have been a patron of this restaurant, but after a lengthy break due to their closure, it has reopened. Everything remains the same, especially the wonderful host who remembered me despite the years that have passed. I stopped by for a glass of wine and will provide an update after my next dinner visit.

We decided last minute to stop here after a show. The service was great, and the food was honestly much better than we expected it to be after 10 a.m. haha. Lachs ravioli is soooo good!!!

Some really amazing sounding dishes on their menu I had the mushroom risotto, which was so rich and tasteful with a smokey taste and perfectly cooked. All others were equally satisfied with food. The staff was great, our host was very attentive throughout our time. Plates and glasses cleaned or filled within minutes of completion. The atmosphere was very beautiful, candlelight and felt very Italian. It was not as busy as some of the restaurants, but some of the other diners were a bit on the loud side for the type of restaurant it is that has influenced the mood a little.. That didn't quite say the restaurant's fault, so it would be up there to dinate in my Top 3 New York restaurants and if I definitely stayed eating again a few times more.
