Osteria 57 - New York

Stumbled upon this restaurant and loved the food and service. Excellent!

I have to give this place five stars so I don't forget it when I come back.

The octopus pasta was perfect, everything about it just exactly right, please don't ever take that off the menu. The Lugana with that was heaven. Great, very knowledgeable and attentive service and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Charming atmosphere. The staff were all super warm and welcoming. The food was beyond our expectation. Highly recommend the octopus as an appetizer as it was cooked to perfection and delicious with the beans and braised shallots. For pasta… it’s was beautiful. The fusilli was hand rolled and fresh and the mushroom ragu was on point! If you like a creamy pasta then go for the cacio pepe! Will definitely be visiting Osteria 57 again soon!

Really excellent. Lovely service, delicious food. My only complaint: we were in one of the outdoor booths and the curtains don’t really keep the cold air out very well when the waiters move in and out of the space and don’t close them very carefully. It was a very cold night, and it was not, super comfortable
