I walked in to pick up my online MealPal order, only to be informed that the boss had decided not to participate in MealPal that day. If that's the case, then why not update the website to reflect this for Tuesday? There’s no way to cancel a MealPal reservation, so now I'm left without lunch after wasting time arguing with the staff, who insisted they had no food available, even though I could see meals right in front of me. I was late for a meeting as a result. It’s hard to understand why I would ever return to spend my money there again. In fact, I definitely won’t.

Apparently my experience at the West 38th outpost (where another customer literally called the police on the place) was not a one off. These people are just unpleasant to deal with.

I ordered the barbacoa tacos with a side of crema and guacamole. I wanted to enjoy the meal more, but it turned out to be mediocre at best. The guacamole was underwhelming; it had a fake taste and didn’t seem fresh at all. The crema lacked flavor and was reminiscent of plain sour cream. The beans and rice were nothing particularly noteworthy. For $20 tacos, I was quite disappointed. However, the staff was friendly and attentive.

Seriously. Really. Good. Food. The prices are very reasonable. The food is amazing. The place is small and non descript.

The food was quite disappointing. The crema lacked any flavor, and while there was a hint of spiciness, it didn't have any real taste. I would have preferred just eating Chipotle instead. Additionally, my order through Sharebite was 45 minutes late.
