The Foie Gras Brûlée was more the size of an amuse bouche . The ratio of foie gras to toast was off with too little of the liver. Still the sauce was lovely as was the addition of nuts and I enjoyed it even though it was over. I can 't say the same for the Warm Shrimp Salad, Avocado, Tomato, Champagne Vinegar Dressing. The shrimp were overcooked and dry, the dressing overused truffle oil and only the butter sauce lived up to the restaurant 's reputation
The foie gras was almost nonexistent. All I could taste was the toast. It was more the size of an amuse bouchée and very overpriced. However the sauces and addition of pistachios was delicious. Unfortunately I can 't say the same for the shrimp salad. The shrimp were overcooked and hard and dry. The vinaigrette used too much truffle oil which I thought too earthy for the dish. Such a disappointment from such a well respected restaurant.

Still the gelee was lovely and the addition of pistachios delicious. I can 't say the same of the shrimp. They were overcooked and the dressing overused truffle oil which was too earthy for this dish in my opinion. Only the butter sauce lived up to this restaurant 's reputation
The first two courses were excellent but the last two savory courses that we received the fish and the steak were not as described! If you're charging people over $300 for a meal, you should deliver what's expected! I definitely would not have placed this order if the menu had correctly stated the preparations we got. For, example, I don't like tomato based sauces, which is what we got with the fish instead of the sesame mushroom sauce. Same with the steak; the preparation was not at all what we ordered. Where was the mustard sauce????Very disappoining.
