This restaurant was quite unpleasant—dirty tables, a stuffy atmosphere, and an off-putting smell. I don't understand how others rated it four stars. I had lunch there this afternoon and ordered pho and bun bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup). The pho noodles were undercooked, and the broth lacked flavor, tasting more like plain rice noodles in pork broth without any beefy or spicy notes. Meanwhile, the bun bo Hue was excessively oily and came with only basil and bean sprouts, lacking other vegetables and herbs. I'm not sure they even know how to properly use spices and herbs, as the bun bo Hue had an unexpected curry flavor. I strongly advise against this place if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese noodle soup.

This is undoubtedly the best pho in NYC for the price. The pho was served in a huge bowl, filled with generous layers of beef, all for just $14. Everything was incredibly fresh and tender, and the broth was a delightfully savory experience. The ambiance featured traditional Asian decor, creating a nostalgic and inviting atmosphere. It's especially great for a wholesome evening out with family or friends. I look forward to returning to try their other dishes!

Solid Viet food in the heart of Chinatown. It's right next to the B Grand Street station, so very convenient! Their normal bowl of pho is around )12, while their extra large bowl is $14 (number 1). I tried the large bowl and it can easily be made into 2 portions. I took a takeaway container that was entirely full home! The broth is very fragrant and has a fatty after taste. It tasted different than other phos I've had, but in a good way. The restaurant itself is large, so you'll have no problem getting a table. If you pay with cash you get a 3% discount as well. Would come back!
