Bidrage med feedbackI highly recommend trying the Pork Banh and kimchi fries at this restaurant. They were very satisfying and filling.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in a city full of overpriced, mediocre options. They offer delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. It's the best banh mi I've had in NYC so far, and I've tried 2 Wheels and Pho Lexington. The only downside is that the ingredients in the sandwich could be mixed better to prevent the cilantro from falling out, and a bit more jalapeno or spice would be nice. However, overall it's really good. The veggie rolls are also excellent. And Mama, the owner, is a sweetheart.
I felt like I was back in Vietnam. I recommend trying the tofu in a crispy crust and chicken in a lemongrass marinade sandwich. The portions are really generous, with enough for two people in one dish. This place is a must-visit! 10/10.
We were at Bryant Park for the Winter Village and it was chilly. I was craving a hot drink to warm up, so when I saw the masala chai at this place, I was excited. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to receive a lukewarm (borderline cold) drink. The chai flavor was good, but I was hoping for something much warmer. The food items looked delicious, though, so I would still like to give them a try.
The food took a while to arrive, but it was delicious once it did. The interior of the restaurant was also very charming.
