Malcriada - New York

**Not an evaluation of food or services* I bought a puls'd voucher and was excited to try this place because of the good reviews.

Malcriada used to be Kaz, an Eastern European restaurant.

Very much just meh' I'm a huge fan of the adage "if its not broken, don't turn it into a pseudo Spanish restaurant".

La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. All you have to do is try it yourself.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the mozzarella and tomato salad, which was the best I've ever had. The shrimp and scallops over polenta were a delightful and unique combination of flavors. The menu offered a wide variety of options and the service was fantastic.
