Bidrage med feedbackAwesome lunch spot. The Toro was amazing. Service provided was spot on. I was asked several times if I needed anything. The rainbow roll was so so. I would have expected shredded crab on interior of the roll for type restaurant and prices. Fish was fresh. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seats for 1-2 persons while I visited. More than 2 and would be a wait. Would go back for sure if in the area.
Playing as tourist, ordered lobsta (Boston accent roll and oysters… let me warn you ahead, it wasn’t cheap! 3 lobsta rolls, fried fish shrimp plate, a dozen oysters and a pint of IPA beer will run you about $150 with tips. Lobster rolls wasn’t all that, I feel Luke’s might be better. Also the lobster roll in National Harbor is better! Over all it’s a food market : also it’s near by Little Island, another tourist spot.
Each counter has its own specialities and you order and pay at each one. We had some oysters at the raw bar and then a lobster roll at the hot food bar down the back. This one is the most popular section by far so seats are harder to come by and as most people are getting whole lobster the seats don’t turnover quickly. Lobster roll was nice, bun was a little small but packed with lots of lobster.
Nice place in Chelsea Market offering a variety of sea food. We only tried the lobster roll which was really good but lacked a bit of balance in ingredients, I hardly noticed the celery and spring onions. Otherwise good and service was very quick. Can be difficult to find seating during busy hours so be prepared to stand up while eating.Food: 4/5
I've overlooked this place simply because it seemed like a tourist trap. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally tried it. I was craving lobster roll of course had to add clam chowder. I've lived in New England for awhile am used to some pretty tasty lobster rolls! This version was definitely better than I expected. There was definitely butter missing on that roll something about the flavoring of the lobster was off. The best part was the clam chowder! It was definitely better than some I've tried in Boston!
