Bidrage med feedbackWe went to the restaurant for our reservation (on Saturday night at 19:30... and the restaurant was closed. No note, email etc. This was for a special occasion birthday dinner. There was a group of people outside who also waited for reservations. The restaurant was not in touch yet.
This is the second time I was asked to write a review for Kingsley. Reservations on Saturday, 22 September. Arrived after a taxi ride of $18 dumped in front of the restaurant to find it Pitchdark locked no one there. Another party of three came at the same time as my party they celebrated their 60. Birthday celebration only to find the restaurant closed, not even a handwriting sign at the door... never heard of such a thing I would never recommend this restaurant to everyone. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I made the reservations, this happened in August.
Food was excellent and service was very attentive. Great experience.
I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant was fantastic. I am vegetarian and my wife is not, but each of us had a ton of choice (unusual to me, usual for them). All we ate was creative and tasty, and the service was warm and attentive. The ingredients were seasonal, but not fussily so (not pretentious). We will be back for the tasting menu this autumn, definitely.
We arrived to find the restaurant closed. I made this reservation, received confirmation from open table, AND received a confirmation email from Kingsley’s (to which I responded, as requested with an affirmation). If this is the quality of service Kingsley and Opentable consider normal for a Michelin rated restaurant.... COME ON—Clearly not worth the hype if they can’t manage to attend to guests from RESERVATION TO DESSERT! Pathetic.
