Gray Mare (the) - New York

Excellent happy hour! Tried several of the cocktails: the Paper Plane (bourbon, Aperol, Nonino lemon juice). Moved on to test the Old Fashioned but the winner was the wonderful Whiskey Sour! Awesome happy hour snacks: homemade pretzels, buffalo cauliflower and sweet potato tater tots. Also loved the space and the atmosphere.

Diana , was AWESOME !! Great Bar tender slash hostess slash waitress slash food runner slash every other slash you can think of, So Diana Welcomed us very warmly , gave us the option to choose where we wanted to sit , which is always a plus . She wasn 't concerned with how spread out each customer was as far as seating even though she was the only front end person at the time. She was willing to come from behind the bar and get her hands dirty at each table, and I respect that . This was me and my wife 's first time at the Gray Mare and honestly we found it by accident we were actually looking for the vegan Mexican restaurant #BarVerde which was literally right next door but the happy hour fanatics that we are , we got drawn in by the chalk board that read happy hour 3pm-8pm for $10 cocktails! Naturally we walked in .. but quickly said wow this is interesting for a Vegan Mexican restaurant Boy oh boy am I glad we stumbled upon this gem. We will for sure be coming back. Service was great , price was just right and the damn drinks were outta this world!!! Diana is an excellent bar tender and she 's so approachable and chill . We loved her vibes !! A

Spacious bar with a lot of seating. I was only here for a little over an hour but have plans to return for drinks again if I'm in the area.

Interesting shovel, clean and cozy. However, the service is slow, eating was Bland staff were a package of very miserable toads. far better places to spend time money
